About Village Art Gallery
Established more than four decades ago by Agnes Galvez, Village Art Gallery first opened its doors in the quiet neighborhood of BF Homes, Parañaque, with the vision of bringing art closer to both seasoned collectors and first-time enthusiasts. As the Philippine art market shifted toward larger commercial districts, the gallery chose to stay rooted in the South, eventually relocating to Alabang Town Center where it has become one of the most respected art spaces in Southern Metro Manila.
Now under the leadership of Sam Galvez-Lorenzo, Village Art Gallery continues to champion Filipino creativity, with a strong focus on discovering and nurturing emerging artists. Many of these talents have since carved out prominent careers, thanks in part to the gallery’s unwavering support. Alongside cultivating new voices, the gallery also represents a roster of artists exclusively, providing them with long-term guidance, exposure, and career development. With the recent opening of its second branch at Greenbelt 5, Makati, Village Art Gallery strengthens its mission to uphold the integrity of contemporary Filipino art while expanding its reach to a broader audience.
