About Artemis Art

Established in 2011, Artemis Art’s main focus is promoting young and emerging visual artists from Southeast Asia, our main region of interest, whose diverse art-making modes and practices mirror the sheer diversity found throughout the region

Our programming comprises participating in selected international art fairs and presenting focused exhibitions, including those through collaborations with partner galleries around the region. In addition, Artemis Art provides art consultancy services catered to meet the specific needs of our diverse clientele

In the past several years, our art fair programming has seen us being a part of important international art fairs in Asia and Europe, such as Art Central Hong Kong, Art Fair Philippines, Art Jakarta, Asia NOW Paris, and Volta Basel, to name a few

For some of our artists, career development is an important consideration in our programming. Among the notable projects that Artemis Art has facilitated for them include a mini solo for Dedy Sufriadi at the European Cultural Council’s 2022 Venice Biennale-associated event Personal Structures, and the inclusion of an art installation by the same artist shown during the 2022 edition of Art Jakarta. With Taufik Ermas, Dedy was also part of a 2-man project Future Myth exhibited at Art Central Hong Kong 2023
