About Caiyun Art
Caiyun Art was founded in 2010 in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The name “Caiyun”—meaning “Colorful Clouds”—derives from the idea of a rainbow’s promise, symbolizing the gallery’s belief that art should be as luminous, approachable, and ever-present as the colors of the sky. Guided by this philosophy, Caiyun Art seeks to integrate art into everyday life, transforming aesthetic experience into a shared and living dialogue.
Over the years, Caiyun Art has established strong cross-cultural ties between Korea and Taiwan. The gallery regularly collaborates with local galleries in Taiwan and participates in major art fairs across Taipei, Taichung, and Tainan, introducing a wide spectrum of contemporary visual expressions to a broader audience.
Representing a new generation of emerging and mid-career Korean artists, Caiyun Art is dedicated to promoting artistic excellence and humanistic values. Through its curatorial projects and collaborations, the gallery aims to invigorate the Taiwanese art market while cultivating an international and inclusive art ecosystem where creativity, diversity, and emotion converge.
