Core Contemporary Art, established in 2023 as a subsidiary of Core Design Gallery, reflects the visionary leadership of Scarlette Lee, who has been a pivotal figure in Malaysian contemporary art since founding Core Design Gallery in 2010. Over the past decade, Lee has cultivated and championed a dynamic roster of emerging and mid-career artists, advancing them onto the global stage while solidifying the gallery’s position as a leading platform for contemporary Malaysian expression.
