Figured
Not often discussed is how artists figure out how to create the maximum effect with the least effort & materials. Art Lounge Manila presents the works of Tet Aligaen, Christian Mirang, Gerrico Blanco, Inday Cadapan, and other artists using black & white to figure the economy of means. www.artloungemanila.com
Harana
Bakit “Harana”?
About Art Lounge Manila
Art Lounge Manila is not just an art gallery in the traditional sense. We create experiences for our existing clientele and also introduce fine art and filipino culture and craftsmanship to a bigger audience by putting up events that pique the interest of individuals who may not even necessarily be drawn to the idea of going to an art gallery, but would enjoy being immersed in art and creativity nonetheless. We want to entertain, educate and enrich those who enter our spaces. We want to give the experience of learning from a visit to the museum and the entertainment from watching a live performance and just interacting with art and culture but in a more accessible and less intimidating space.
We really aim to showcase not only visual art but integrate all the other art forms both traditional and non traditional to create experiences where these different art forms interact with one another in a way that breathes new life into each art form and really give our clients and audiences a well rounded experience of art & culture. We also want to do more shows and events that not only showcase art but also support different advocacies as we believe that art is such a great medium with which to communicate advocacies and promote charitable institutions because that is one way we strongly believe art can not only make our individual lives better by bringing beauty and joy but in this manner it can also tangibly and significantly make a difference as well.
